James Grass is a fourth-year saxophone performance major at UNC Greensboro, formerly serving as the principal saxophonist in the UNCG Wind Ensemble, performing in Jazz Ensemble 2, and current Tenor saxophonist in the UNCG Cardinal Saxophone Quartet.
Originally from Burke, Virginia, he studied under SGM Matthew Carmichael throughout high school. Now in college under the instruction of Dr. Robert Young, Grass is dedicated to mastering his craft and capturing as many performance opportunities as possible.
